Job Description:

Leads the Produce team in daily operations, focusing on profitability, expense control, buying, and regulatory compliance. Responsible for Team Member hiring, development, and separations. Ensures a positive company image by providing courteous service to customers and Team Members. Must be able to perform duties inherent in other Team Member job descriptions.

• Holds team members accountable for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Builds a positive work environment of outstanding teamwork and morale.
• Makes hiring and separation decisions.
• Monitors and achieves sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
  • Maintains proper product assortment, merchandising, and inventory control.
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with department leaders and vendors.
  • Sustains exceptional knowledge of competitors and industry trends.
  • Models WFM vision and goals.
    • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, and customer relationship skills.
    • Capable of teaching others in a positive manner.
    • Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance.
    • Demonstrated decision-making and leadership skills.24+ months retail experience and 12+ months of team leadership experience. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, work 6-8 hours standing/walking, and work in a wet and cold environment.
