Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Meat Associate Team Leader to join our team at Whole Foods Market - White Plains. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Development: Lead and develop Team Members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
• Store Operations: Assist the Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports, and labor; assist with ordering and inventory management; and ensure adherence to all applicable health and safety regulations.
• Customer Service: Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs; direct Team Members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers; and respond promptly to customer needs and questions.
• Performance Management: Provide timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations; communicate and maintain Team Member safety and security standards; and consistently communicate and model WFM vision and goals.Requirements:
  • 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • High energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for our products, core values, and company philosophy.
  • Extensive knowledge of meat products; growth mindset towards greater responsibility and ownership; and desire to coach and mentor others for growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
