Summary of job responsibilities: Develop and maintain creative store layout and product merchandising. Work with team leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets. Assist team leader in analysis of sales, reports, and labor. Participate in annual sales and expense projections and budget preparation. Assist team leader with ordering and inventory management. Resolve team concerns or issues. Function as point person in team leader's absence. Maintain high standards of retail execution. Foster positive team environment. Provide excellent customer service and support team members in their roles.Key qualifications: High energy and enthusiasm. Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance. Growth mindset and desire to coach and mentor others. Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills. Thorough product knowledge. Advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies. Proficient in email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications.Physical requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds. Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday. Use hands for single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling. Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Ability to work in a wet and cold environment and handle knives and other cutting equipment.
