Job Description:

Group 74 is looking for a candidate with experience predicting the mechanical behavior of structures using finite element analysis for static and dynamic environments, performing vibration and shock environmental testing and the subsequent model correlation, and developing tests to characterize the behavior of structural components.
The successful candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary engineering team contributing to the development of operational prototype hardware, spanning the full program life cycle from concept development to fielding and test.

Must Haves:

8+ years of experience with static and dynamic structural modeling and analysis.
Demonstrated experience leading structural testing and model correlation efforts.
Ability to clearly communicate results in oral presentations and written reports.
Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.

Nice to Haves:

Experience with STOP (Structural, Thermal, Optical Performance) analysis.
Experience with LOS (Line-of-Sight) Jitter analysis.
Experience with test fixture design (or other forms of design).
